What if I am not an LPN, Paramedic or RT? Can I still enroll in the ASN program?

You can take prerequisites with us but cannot go beyond Nursing Concept 104 without an active license as an LPN, Paramedic or RT. Many current Kaylim students are taking just the prerequisites with us while simultaneously taking an LPN program. There are even classes you can take at Kaylim that will transfer into your LPN program shortening the amount of time it takes you to become an LPN. When you do you get your license as an LPN and enroll in your nursing classes at Kaylim you will have just 11 months of schooling to complete the program!

The ASN program requires seven prerequisites; Sociology, Life Span, Psychology, Humanities, English, Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology. (Anatomy and Physiology entails A&P one and two.)

How many nursing classes are required for the ASN bridge program?
There a eight nursing classes in the ASN program. LPNs only need to take seven of them.

How long is your ASN program?
That depends on what classes you need. If you need all the classes it should take you no more than 24 months, coming just once a week. If you need just the nursing classes it will take you about 13 months, less if you are an LPN.

How often do I need to come to class?
You will only ever have to come to class once a week so you won’t have to neglect the rest of your life to get your degree.

Will I be able to transfer in class credits I have already earned?
As long as you received those credits from an accredited institution then we will apply them to your ASN degree.

Will my degree be accredited?
Absolutely! After successfully completing the program you will have an accredited Associate degree.

What is the cost of the ASN program?

What is your passing rate on the exams?
We have a 91% pass rate on the exams. (*Based on all exams turned in to KCI.)

Do I have to enroll into your whole ASN program to take the CPNE workshop or the NCLEX review?
No, we extend the invitation to any students that want to take it. For students not affiliated with Kaylim Career Institute the cost of the CPNE workshop is $567. The cost of the NCLEX review for non-Kaylim students is $397. For Kaylim students both of these are included in their program.
