The exam is equivalent to two-semesters of undergraduate course work and deals with the functions of the human body. The major emphasis areas are:
1) organization and overview of the human body (cavities, planes, cell structure, tissues, skin, and fluid)
2) chemical basis of life (reactions, organic and inorganic compounds, and atomic structure)
3) support and motion ( skeletal system, supporting tissue, muscle tissue and physiology)
4) regulatory mechanisms (nervous systems, endocrine systems, and endocrine
5) Maintenance of the body (circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems).
