The microbiology exam tests the student’s knowledge of the history of microbiology, lab techniques, microorganisms, disease, resistance, and immunity, as well as infectious diseases. The relationship of bacteria, algae, fungi, protozoa, and viruses to the human body are focus areas. (A general knowledge of anatomy and physiology or biology is helpful).
