Registered Nurse (ASN)

Kaylim Career Institute has been helping LPNs, Paramedics and Respiratory Therapists bridge over to their ASN-RN since 2004, in what we refer to as our Blended Learning Program. Our unique and proven program is designed for highly motivated professionals already in the medical field that don’t have the time to attend a full time program. We will assist you through a combination of transferring credits, earning credit by examination, and preparation for completing clinical performance evaluations in earning an Associate of Science Degree from a reputable accredited institution.

The Associate Degree in Nursing blends three nursing roles—provider of care, manager of patient care, and member of profession. Associate degree nursing requires knowledge that emphasizes concepts, principles, observation, critical thinking, and values. This unique and proven tutoring and test prep program provides an alternative to traditional classroom instruction, but does require licensure as an LPN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Physician, Physicians Assistant or Military Corpsman.

Previously earned college credit will be applied to this program if the credits were earned at an accredited institution. Even if there is no transferable credit, however, students will need only 7 general education and 8 nursing theory examinations, and successful performance on a weekend clinical examination to earn their associate degree.

Instead of having to read a stack of 500 page text books, only 10% of which you will likely be tested on, you study from tutorials designed specifically for this program. These tutorials, or study guides, are written to the exam you will be taking so you won’t waste hours of study time trying to remember stuff that won’t be on the exam.
